Circular economy

In a world where resources are becoming scarce and waste is constantly increasing, it is important to rethink the environmental and social impact of our objects.

Alongside the use of many resources essential to the manufacture of these objects, the manufacturing process and transport are also the source of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. What could be more logical then than to keep all these objects in use for their entire life cycle, then to reassemble or recycle them to make new objects? This is how we can move from the current linear model (incompatible with the finiteness of resources on earth) to a circular model in which these resources will be constantly reused.

GUTT GESCHIER is an initiative that aims to reduce waste, stimulate repair and create an alternative to consumerism.

"Gutt Geschier" enables citizens to borrow crafting and garden tools instead of buying them. It allows anyone to go on with their home projects without the need of buying expensive tools that may end up unused.

With Gutt Geschier, you also contribute to the circular economy: 95% of the offered tools are given a second life through the initiative. Valuable resources that would have end up in the trash or been recycled are thus given a new value without much effort.

The initiative also raises awareness among citizens about energy and resource usage. Gutt Geschier contributes in bringing a change in the mindset of consumer habits among citizens.
