Thanks to the online reservation system, they are inserted back into the cycle of future users. In this way, they fully live out their life cycle and help avoid the purchase and production of new tools, which consume energy and resources.

"Gutt Geschier" enables citizens to borrow crafting and garden tools instead of buying them. It allows anyone to go on with their home projects without the need of buying expensive tools that may end up unused.

With Gutt Geschier, you also contribute to the circular economy: 95% of the offered tools are given a second life through the initiative. Valuable resources that would have end up in the trash or been recycled are thus given a new value without much effort.
